Because of so many people contributing, it feels like I'm part of something bigger than the navigation app alone. The minutes remain the same between the two formats. Driving Directions, Traffic Reports & Carpool Rideshares by Waze Step 1 Get told when to leave Waze knows it’s easier to plan your trip than your excuse for being late. To convert from 24-hour time to 12-hour time (or vice versa), use the table on the right. In a 24-hour format, time is represented with unique hours of the day that do not require the AM and PM indicators. The drop down box uses a 24-hour notation. The options are in 30 minute increments both earlier and later than now. This will show the routing options available based on historical data for other times of the day or night. In addition to seeing the routing options right now based on current traffic data, use the time of day drop down box to select an alternate time. Once the searched location is identified, use the mouse to select the point under the pin to bring up the selection box. When the map is near a particular continent that does not have the destination desired, it may be difficult to search for it without first moving the map to the correct continent. If the live map is only displaying blue water everywhere, it may be necessary to zoom out and move the map to the continent desired. A pin will be placed at the location and the map will recenter on the pin. Once the desired destination is visible, select it. If the desired match is not visible in that list, add additional parts of the address to limit the search and press find again. Search results in the live map use the same search mechanism as the Waze app, places created in WME should take precedence in the search while Google results can also be shown. If the description entered has more than one match, a list will be displayed. Place the mouse cursor in the text field and enter the address or place of interest, then press find. In the Search/Navigate box click on Search if it is not already highlighted.
